New section for project presentations now available!

We inaugurate a new section in SONATA´s webpage: Project Presentations.

In this section, that it is included within the label "PROJECT OUTCOMES", you will find the most interesting presentations given by the project.

The goal of this new section is to make the project research, learnings and results available to the wider audience possible and to spread SONATA´s message creating the maximum impact.

We hope all this material is of you interest!

New deliverable already available!

SONATA has just released a new deliverable "D5.3 Integrated and qualified public release of SONATA platform".

This Deliverable documents the progress made in the WP5 and focuses on defining processes and methodologies for an agile integration process of the output of the work done in WP3 and WP4. The presented results are relevant to the second open source release of the SONATA environment.

SONATA at the 5G-PPP Cross-project Workshop in Athens

SONATA is attending these days at the 5G-PPP Cross-project Workshop that is taken place in Athens, Greece.

At the workshop, jointly organized by a set of 5GPPP Phase 1 projects, they will be discussing topics such as:

- Overall RAN Design and Architecture
- Network Slicing
- Security
- Air Interface Design
- Complexity
- Performance and use cases

SONATA will participate in the next International Symposium on Advances in Software Defined Networking and Network Functions Virtualization, SOFTNETWORKING 2017, that will take place in Venice (Italy) on April 23-27th.
The Symposium is dedicated to the advances and challenges in SDN&NFV technologies and their applications. Some of the SDN&NFV-related topics will be:

SONATA produced two new deleverables just before Christmas:

- D3.2. Intermediate release of SDK prototype and documentation, which documents the updated design, additional features, as well as new components of the SDK in the intermediate SONATA release.

- D4.2. Service Platform First Operational Release and Documentation, the second deliverable related to the SONATA’s Service Platform development and it reflects the evolution that has happened since our first deliverable, D4.1 and after the first year

SONATA new LinkedIn Profile!

SONATA inaugurates the New Year 2017 with its new LinkedIn profile.

The goal this new initiative is to spread the project results as much as possible with the intention of creating the biggest impact possible.

As you may already know, SONATA is a highly collaborative effort with 15 partners representing most of the links of the Telecommunications network chain: the telecom operators, manufacturers, system integrators, service providers, SME developers and research and academic institutes.
